STERITOOL INC is committed to providing our customers with high-quality, affordable tools. We continuously evaluate methods to reduce overhead and optimize manufacturing processes, allowing us to transfer these savings to our customers.
The grades of stainless that provide the best combination of strength, corrosion resistance, availability, and machine ability, come with a high cost. Many newly manufactured 'Stainless Steel' tools utilize secondary processes to reduce costs. This is an attempt to make an inferior grade of stainless steel perform beyond its intended design.
An industry standard corrosion test we use is called Salt Spray Testing. Under ASTM B117 standards, a salt spray test requires 1000 hours of exposure to salt spray within a controlled environment.
