Manufactured from Carpenter Custom 465 stainless steel. All Star / Lobe Hex Keys & Drivers are polished and passivated.

What's in a name?
Despite the numerical name assigned to this alloy, Custom 465 is not a "400 series" stainless steel at all. It's a precipitation hardening (PH) stainless, with corrosion resistant properties approaching that of 304. Combined with an end product hardness of HRC54, this alloy is ideal for high torque applications in any critical environment.

Custom 465 is a martensitic, age-hardenable stainless steel alloy. This alloy is magnetic.
